<p>The present invention relates to a portable terminal having an auto photography mode, and more specifically to a portable terminal having an auto photography mode capable of organizing photos easily after a hiking or a travel, by setting an auto photography mode in which a photograph is automatically taken at a certain time or at a certain distance, taking a photo thereby, and displaying the photo by matching the photo with map data stored in a memory. The portable terminal comprises: a camera which photographs a still image obtained by an image sensor; a sensor unit which includes at least one among a magnetic sensor, a gyro sensor, and an acceleration sensor, and calculates a distance moved by using the sensors; a location information module for identifying a location and time of the portable terminal; and an auto mode decision unit which decides an auto mode according to a periodic condition or a certain condition based on time or a distance.</p> |
