PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and fast perform connection authentication of a wireless LAN without depending on a network-side server in a radio communication system capable of performing communication by adding or deleting a band for a base station of the wireless LAN to or from a band for a base station of mobile communication.SOLUTION: In response to a request from a terminal 3, an authentication token is generated and put out by a mobile communication base station 1. The terminal 3 transmits to a wireless LAN base station 2 a connection request including a terminal ID and a cell ID together with the authentication token. The wireless LAN base station 2 transmits an authentication request including a terminal ID to the mobile communication base station 1 identified from the cell ID together with the authentication token, and if authentication is OK, connection with the terminal 3 is established.
