PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float type building capable of being floated vertically upward by buoyancy without execution of work associated with flotation of a float part when a tsunami is generated by an earthquake.SOLUTION: A float type building includes: a floor slab that is constructed on a ground surface and in which a through-hole is provided in a proper location; float parts that are installed with clearances among them on the floor slab and that can float on a water surface; a building that is constructed on the upper side of the float part; an outer guide member that is provided on the lower side of the though-hole and that is buried at least in the ground; and an inner guide member that is connected to the lower side of the float part and that is inserted through the outer guide member. |
