PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a temporary-retreating travel distance for a hybrid vehicle including an automatic transmission.SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 includes: an engine 100; motor-generators MG 1, MG 2; a power division mechanism 300 including a carrier CA, a sun gear S and a ring gear R, which are linked respectively to a crank shaft 110 of the engine 100, a rotor 410 of the motor-generator MG 1 and a rotary shaft 415 of the motor-generator MG 2; a propeller shaft 430; an automatic transmission 500 disposed between the motor-generator MG 2 and propeller shaft 430; and an ECU 1000 for controlling the automatic transmission 500. In the case of the motor-generator MG 1 being failed, the ECU 1000 limits speed change of the automatic transmission 500 further than in the case of the motor-generator MG 2. |
