PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light emitting device having high performance and high luminous efficiency, in which optical crosstalk in the device to the outside of an element region is suppressed to a large extent.SOLUTION: A semiconductor light emitting device comprises: a mounting substrate 11; a semiconductor light emitting element 10 arranged on the mounting substrate 11; electrode pads 12A, 12B which are provided on the mounting substrate 11 and adjacent to the semiconductor light emitting element 10; and a plurality of projections 13 provided on the electrode pads 12A, 12B and each of which has a pointed shape. |
