PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the weight reduction of a thrust bearing and a transmission while favorably suppressing the generation of a drag at the thrust bearing included in the transmission.SOLUTION: In an automatic transmission 25, a thrust bearing 100 having first and second races 101, 102, a plurality of rolling bodies 103, and a cage 104 for holding a plurality of the rolling bodies 103 so as to make the rolling bodies roll between the first and second races 101, 102 is arranged between a sun gear 31 of a first planetary gear mechanism 30 and an input shaft 26. An internal peripheral face of the first race 101 of the thrust bearing 100 is supported in a radial direction by the input shaft 26. Furthermore, the second race 102 of the thrust bearing 100 has an annular abutting face 102a which can abut on a plurality of the rolling bodies 103, and a plurality of support parts 102b which are extended to the outside of a radial direction with intervals in a circumferential direction from an external peripheral face of the abutting face 102a, and is supported in the radial direction by the sun gear 31. |
