PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a confocal scanner that enables an individual adjustment of an angle of incidence of light incident upon a microlens array disc 1 and a center of emerging light of a pinhole array disc 3, and obtains improvement in stability by securing a fiber 15. ! SOLUTION: A confocal scanner comprises: a microlens array disc that has a plurality of microlens converging an incident ray flux as a point light source arrayed; a pinhole array disc that is rotatably driven by being mechanically coupled at a convergence location of the microlens array disc, and has a plurality of pinholes arrayed so as to correspond to a microlens one by one; and an objective lens that forms the point light source in a sample.
