SOLUTION: A confocal scanner comprises: a microlens array disc that has a plurality of microlens converging an incident ray flux as a point light source arrayed; a pinhole array disc that is rotatably driven by being mechanically coupled at a convergence location of the microlens array disc, and has a plurality of pinholes arrayed so as to correspond to a microlens one by one; and an objective lens that forms the point light source in a sample.
