PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arsenic detection method capable of determining simply and easily even by visual observation, presence/absence of inclusion of arsenic in the ppm order or lower, and the amount thereof, and to provide arsenic detection paper used therefor. ! SOLUTION: In an arsenic detection method, a gas body obtained by subjecting aqueous solution which may contain arsenic to a gasification treatment is allowed to pass through an air-permeable filter carrying bis(2-ethyl hexyl)dithiocarbamate silver.
