PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of restraining shortage of lubricating oil without deteriorating motor performance. ! SOLUTION: A hermetic compressor includes: a compression part for compressing a medium; a driving motor having a stator, a rotor rotating to the stator, and a rotating shaft holding the rotor and driving the compression part; and a housing for storing the compression part and the driving motor. Movement of the rotor relative to the rotating shaft is suppressed by first frictional force generated between an inner peripheral surface thereof and an outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft, movement of the stator relative to the housing is suppressed by second frictional force generated between an outer peripheral surface thereof and an inner peripheral surface of the housing, and a plurality of recessions 214 recessed from the outer peripheral surface so that lubricating oil supplied to the compression part can pass therethrough are formed on the stator at equal inte |
