PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon fiber precursor acrylonitrile-based fiber, in which the water content of a coagulated fiber can be reduced without lowering the temperature of a coagulation bath. ! SOLUTION: In the method for producing the carbon fiber precursor acrylonitrile-based fiber, the passing time of an acrylonitrile-based polymer solution from a discharge port of a device for dissolving an acrylonitrile-based polymer to a nozzle hole is kept within 0.5-20.0 hours, the temperature of the acrylonitrile-based polymer solution is kept at 30-85°C within 5 minutes since the acrylonitrile-based polymer solution is discharged from the discharge port of the device for dissolving an acrylonitrile-based polymer, and the temperature of the acrylonitrile-based polymer solution is also kept at 30-85°C during the passing time thereof from the discharge port to the nozzle hole. !
