a mobile terminal; one or more communication devices; and a base station for communicating with at least one of the mobile terminal and one or more communication devices, wherein the mobile terminal includes
a receiver configured to receive at least one of a first reference signal and a second reference signal transmitted from the one or more communication devices; andcircuitry configured to identify a communication device based on the at least one of the first reference signal and the second reference signal received by the receiver from the one or more communication devices, each of the one or more communication devices transmits the first reference signal according to a first cycle when operating in a power save mode and transmits the second reference signal according to a second cycle when operating in an active mode, the first cycle being longer than the second cycle, and the base station includes
circuitry configured to select a communication device among the one or more communication devices, and issue an instruction to shift to the active mode in a case the selected communication device is operating in the power save mode.
