The invention relates to a braking system (10) for a vehicle, including a pedal mounting (3), a brake pedal (4), and a contactor (1) attached to said mounting (3) and used to switch on the stop lights when said pedal (4) is depressed, in order to brake the vehicle. The main feature of a braking system according to the invention is that said system includes an element (7) for protecting said contactor (1), suitable for attaching to said mounting or an interface part by means of a snap-in system, and in that said element (7) is placed on said mounting or an interface part such as to be positioned between the contactor (1) and the foot (5) of the driver. |
