<p>Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a power headroom reporting (PHR) and receiving method and device. The PHR method is used in a heterogeneous network comprising a macro evolved Node B (MeNB) and a small evolved Node B (SeNB), the SeNB being deployed in the MeNB coverage vulnerable areas or service hot spot regions, the MeNB and the SeNB providing a user equipment (UE) with service via carrier aggregation technology, and the method comprising: if a UE stops uplink data transmission with a first eNB and then starts uplink data transmission with the first eNB again, the UE acquires the power headroom (PH) of the activation carrier of the first eNB and the PH of the activation carrier of a second eNB; and the UE reports to the first eNB the PH of the activation carrier of the first eNB and the PH of the activation carrier of the second eNB. The embodiment of the present invention enables an eNB to acquire PH timely in a heterogeneous network.</p> |
