TELEMETRY OPERATED SETTING TOOL A setting tool (52) for hanging a tubular string (15) includes: a mandrel (60) having an upper portion (60a) and a lower portion (60m) for extending into the tubular string (15); a housing (65) connected to the mandrel (60) upper portion (60a); and a bonnet (51). The bonnet (51) is: for receiving an upper end of the tubular string (15), disposed along the mandrel (60), and linked to the housing (65). The setting tool (52) further includes: an actuator (69) for stroking the bonnet (51) relative to the mandrel (60) and the housing (65), thereby setting a hanger (I5h) of the tubular string (15); an electronics package (66) in communication with the actuator (69) for operating the actuator (69) in response to receiving a command signal; and a latch (62).
