The present invention relates to a car number recognition street parking system using an omnidirectional camera. A street parking system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a front camera which simultaneously photographs a moving picture on parking surfaces by using a fish-eye lens; a sensor part which monitors whether a car is parked on the parking surface and generates a sensing signal; and a control part which recognizes the number of the car parked on the parking surface from the moving picture. The control part recognizes the car from the moving picture, determines the first parking surface for parking the recognized car on the parking surfaces, and can decide the parking of the car on the first parking surface by using the sensing signal.
