<p>The present invention provides a vehicle lock device that is lighter in weight and lower in cost while being reduced in overall thickness. Furthermore, it is easy to mold and assemble the constituent members of said vehicle lock device. Said vehicle lock device is provided with: a pair of position control surfaces (77) that are formed on side surfaces of a cover (70) and face the inside surfaces of a pair of side walls (26b); a pair of positioning recesses (31) formed, respectively, on the edge surfaces of said pair of side walls; and a pair of locking prongs (73) that protrude from a pair of side edges of the cover and fit, respectively, into the pair of positioning recesses.</p> |
