摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the safety against the breakdown caused by relay adhesion. <P>SOLUTION: An electric vehicle is provided with a power receiving connector 29 connected to a battery via a relay. A battery charger is provided with a power supply connector 42 connected to the power receiving connector 29 having a lock mechanism 60 provided thereon. By switching the lock mechanism 60 into a lock state, the connection release between the power receiving connector 29 and the power supply connector 42 is prohibited. When a relay is broken down because of adhesion while the power receiving connector 29 is connected to the power supply connector 42, a breakdown warning is displayed on a touch panel 47 along with a confirmation button 47a. Then, the lock state of the lock mechanism 60 is maintained until a worker press the confirmation button 47a. Consequently, the power receiving connector 29 will never be exposed until the worker recognizes the breakdown caused by the relay adhesion, thus, enhancing the safety for work during charging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
