摘要 The laser processing device (20) for producing a tool from a blank (27), comprises a laser producing laser beam impulse (24), a deflection device (23), which directs the laser beam impulse of the laser to the blank at the spatially apart predetermined impact locations within a predetermined pulse area, and a positioning device, which performs a relative movement between the blank and the pulse area and produces a chip groove and a cutting edge at the blank. The positioning device has a rotational axis, which coincides with a longitudinal axis of a cylindrical blank to be processed. The laser processing device (20) for producing a tool from a blank (27), comprises a laser producing laser beam impulse (24), a deflection device (23), which directs the laser beam impulse of the laser to the blank at the spatially apart predetermined impact locations within a predetermined pulse area, and a positioning device, which performs a relative movement between the blank and the pulse area and produces a chip groove and a cutting edge at the blank. The positioning device has a rotational axis, which coincides with a longitudinal axis of a cylindrical blank to be processed. The laser beam impulse is beam-homogenized. The positioning device pretends and adjusts an inclined angle (alpha ) between an optical axis of a laser head emitting the laser beam impulse and a surface or edge to be produced at the blank. The positioning device changes the inclined angle during processing the blank. The intensity of the laser impulse is varied during the removal of the material. The deflection device directs the laser beam impulse in a predetermined row sequence at the impact locations of the pulse area. The deflection device directs the laser beam impulse at the impact locations provided along a predetermined pulse track. A process gas supply produces a process gas stream directed to the blank, where the process gas stream is aligned to the pulse area in a slanting manner. The process gas supply has process gas nozzles, which direct a partial stream of the process gas stream from different directions at the processing area in the environment of the pulse area. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a contour on a blank.
