A heat treatment method for bearing steel is disclosed, comprising: a first stage quenching process heating bearing steel for a predetermined time at a first heating temperature, and rapidly cooling the bearing steel; a second stage tempering process heating the bearing steel treated by the first stage quenching process for a predetermined time at a second heating temperature, and cooling the bearing steel in the air; a third stage quenching process heating the bearing steel treated by the second stage tempering process for a predetermined time at a third heating temperature, and rapidly cooling the bearing steel; and a fourth stage tempering process heating the bearing steel treated by the third stage quenching process for a predetermined time at a fourth heating temperature, and cooling the bearing steel in the air. Therefore, fatigue life is extended, and corrosion resistance and wear resistance are improved. |
