摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method for controlling an engine generator of a hybrid car in a way to to absorb regenerative braking as much as possible, considering the current charging amount of a high voltage battery and the amount of regenerative braking energy potentially generated according to deceleration of the car. The method comprises the steps of: (a) checking whether to predict the deceleration of the car or not; (b) checking an operating state of the engine generator if the deceleration of the car is predicted; (c) controlling an output of the engine generator before the output of the engine generator is reduced; (d) confirming the need for the deceleration or the braking after the step (c) or if the engine generator is not operating at the result of checking the step (b); (e) calculating the amount of regenerative braking energy when the deceleration or the braking of the car is required; and (f) comparing the energy capable of being stored in the battery and the regenerative braking energy, and then controlling the regenerative braking depending on the difference of the amount.</p>
