<p>The present disclosure generally pertains to a multiplex method for analyzing samples comprising using polynucleotide amplification to produce amplified products wherein one or more target sequences are tagged with a non-interfering, non-canceling target-specific polynucleotide identification tag, pyrosequencing the amplified products through the non-canceling target-specific polynucleotide identification tag sequence to detect the presence of one or more specific polynucleotide identification tags.
