The present invention relates to an information hiding using a DNA sequence and a detection method therefor, comprising the steps of: encoding a message which would be hidden in the DNA; and hiding a reference base which becomes a standard for an encoding of a sector, the encoded message base, and a parity base which verifies if an error occurred within the sector, in the prescribed sector of an intron included in the DNA.
