<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlash adjustment system which prevents axial movement of a gear meshing with a driven helical gear and which causes no backlash and has a simple structure and compact height even when the drive motor is reversed. <P>SOLUTION: This system includes a first intermediate shaft 21 containing a second helical gear 13 reversely twisted coaxially with a first helical gear 12 meshing with one side of a drive helical gear 11, a first intermediate helical gear 14 meshing with a second helical gear, a third helical gear 16 meshing with a second intermediate helical gear 15 meshing with the other side of the drive helical gear 11, and a second intermediate shaft 22 provided with a fourth helical gear 17 reversely twisted coaxially with a third helical gear. The first intermediate helical gear 14 and fourth helical gear 17 are made to simultaneously mesh with a driven helical gear 18 provided to a rotary shaft, so that the first intermediate shaft 21 is moved in an axial direction to allow the adjustment of the backlash between the drive helical gear 11 and driven helical gear 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
