<p>A rotating brush provided with a plurality of linear brushes (11) that are formed around a rotating shaft body along the shaft line thereof, wherein the linear brushes (11) include a mixed linear brush (11A) which comprises, as a bristle material, a mixture of standard cross-section fibers (100) having a round or oval cross-sectional shape with modified cross-section fibers (110) having a cross-sectional shape with concave and/or convex parts. According to this structure, the dust-collecting performance of the rotating brush to be used in a suction tool of an electric vacuum cleaner can be improved while effectively preventing the bending of bristles of the linear brushes, even though using the modified cross-section fibers.</p> |
