<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bidirectional DC-DC converter for storage battery charge/discharge capable of achieving a system configuration at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A DC-DC converter includes: first and second switching elements connected in series between a DC bus line and a connection section to one electrode of a storage battery; first and second diodes connected in reversed parallel to each of the first and second switching elements; and a step-up/step-down coil connected in series between a common connection section of the both switching elements and a connection section to the other electrode of the storage battery. At least a charge path to the storage battery is composed of the first switching element, the step-up/step-down coil and the second diode.
