摘要 The present invention relates to a volumetric compressing device utilized in industrial fluid machinery, such as all kinds of volumetric liquid transfer pumps, a vacuum pump, a gas compressor, a volumetric air blower, gas and liquid flowmeters, a rotary internal combustion engine, or the like and, more specifically, to a volumetric compressing device (rotary clap compressing device) rotating wings of two rotary pistons in the same direction like clapping and utilizing volume variation between the wings to compress fluid. The rotary clap compressing device having a floating seal is to maintain airtightness when the wings of the rotary pistons rotate. According to the present invention, the rotary clap compressing device having a floating seal comprises the two rotary pistons having a plurality of wings arranged in a cylindrical housing on which an inlet and an outlet are formed. The rotary clap compressing device sucks and discharges the fluid through the inlet and the outlet according to the volume variation of compressing chambers formed between the wings of the rotary pistons when the rotary pistons rotate in the same direction at an ununiform speed conflicting to each other. The rotary clap compressing device additionally comprises a floating seal maintaining airtightness between the rotary pistons and the cylindrical housings and rotating while being in contact with the inner surface of the cylindrical housing in the rotation of the rotary pistons by being elastically supported on the circumferential surface of the wings of the rotary pistons.
