PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating an electrode capable of directly reflecting post-assembly battery characteristics in a state of an electrode without assembling a battery.SOLUTION: A method of evaluating an electrode configured to have on a current collector a porous electrode active material layer containing an electrode active material and a binder, includes: a step of preparing at least two electrodes, and preparing a cell for evaluation obtained by laminating the electrodes so that the electrode active material layers are opposed to each other in an electrolyte; and a step of applying a voltage between the electrode current collector of one of the laminated electrodes and the electrode current collector of the other in the evaluation cell. It is preferable that the voltage is applied by changing an AC voltage from a high-frequency side to a low-frequency side. |
