<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry desulfurizer, in which cartridge containers each having an insertable and detachable structure stored in a water seal state are formed dividedly horizontally or vertically in a plurality of steps, and workability in exchanging desulfurization agents and limitation in working place are considered. <P>SOLUTION: In a cartridge container 2 having an insertable and detachable structure formed with a plurality of sections, a filling agent 6 is supported securely at a lower part inside an outer shell 1 of the desulfurizer, and a desulfurization agent 5 is filled. The cartridge container 2 is formed with a plurality of horizontally divided container sections 2A-2B or vertically divided container sections 14A-14D so that the cartridge container 2 can be inserted and released from the upper part inside the outer shell 1 of the desulfurizer to be stored and to be exchanged.
