<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle operation device with improved operability. <P>SOLUTION: The operation device for the vehicle includes: a touch panel type display means 30 including a display screen 20 for displaying operation switches 110 corresponding to a plurality of operation items of vehicle instruments and a cursor L1 for indicating each of the operation switches 110, and accepting user's direct operations to the operation switches 110 displayed on the display screen 20; and a sub-operation means 42 which is arranged at a position separated from the display screen 20 and which can move the cursor L1 at least in one direction.
