<p>The present invention relates to a license management method and system, and more specifically to a license management method which restricts a software license in a broadcast way, and a system performing the same. The license management method, performed by a first terminal device among a plurality of devices connected through an internal network, comprises steps of: (1) starting an installation process or an implementation process of a software based on a first license key including information for the number of devices available by using a license; (2) searching for other terminal devices, with a license key issued, which is the same as the first license key among the plural terminal devices through broadcast; (3) counting a reply provided from the other terminal devices according to the search through broadcast, and comparing the same with the information on the number of devices available by using a license; and (4) ceasing the started process, in case the counted accumulate number is same as or larger than the information on the number of devices available by using a license.</p> |
