A method for performing a Minimization of Driving Tests (MDT) measurement in wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE) an MDT measurement configuration from a network, performing logging of MDT measurement based on the configuration and reporting a result of logging. The logged information includes occurrences of state transitions where logging is suspended and/or resumed. The logged information also includes time information related to the state transition. Suspension or resumption of logging may occur on a change of RRC state, radio access technology (RAT), logging area, public land mobile network (PLMN) or a state of normal camping. |
