<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric hardly changing characteristics such as optical characteristics and air permeability even under large loads and deformation and strong against elongation: a woven fabric excellent in removing foreign materials such as liquid seasonings by wiping if needed: and a woven fabric in which discrete color patterns can be observed when designability is required. <P>SOLUTION: The woven fabric uses a yarn consisting of a core yarn 1 made of a synthetic fiber and a resin layer 2 having a softening temperature lower than that of a resin constituting the core yarn around the core yarn, and warp and weft yarns solidly adhere at intersections by heat fusion of the resin layer through heat treatment of the fabric.
