<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting body inspection device that reduces cost to be required for inspecting a cut-off line. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting body inspection device includes: a measuring part 30L for measuring illuminance of a fog lamp 110 using a first sensor group G1 having illuminance sensors 31, 33... for receiving irradiation light 111; and a calculation part 50 for comparing a reference area with a maximum illuminance difference area obtained by comparing illuminance differences A1, C1... of the illuminance sensors 31, 33.... The maximum illuminance difference area is calculated while adjusting the height positions of the areas A, C... calculated as the maximum illuminance difference areas, to calculate a plurality of maximum illuminance difference areas partially overlapping each other. On the basis of the calculated maximum illuminance difference areas, the reference area is set in advance.
