<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool which is excellent in reactivity resistance and defect resistance.SOLUTION: A cutting part 1 which contributes to cutting is provided and the cutting tool 1 includes a base material part 10 and plural microscopic areas 11 which a compression stress relatively higher than that of the base material part 10 is applied to and are dispersed in the base material part 10. Thus, since the compression stress relatively higher than that of the base material part is applied to the microscopic areas dispersed in the base material part, microscopic defects of the cutting part can be suppressed. And, in a case that the microscopic defects are generated in the cutting part 1, propagation of the microscopic defects can be suppressed by the compression stress.</p> |
