<p>A serial vane compressor has a housing, a driving shaft, primary vanes, secondary vanes, grooves for the primary vanes and grooves for the secondary vanes. A primary backpressure chamber is defined between each primary vane and a corresponding groove for the primary vane. A secondary backpressure chamber is defined between each secondary vane and a corresponding groove for the secondary vane. The housing comprises a shell which accommodates a first side plate, a second side plate and a third side plate. The driving shaft has a public channel which extends in a longitudinal direction of the driving shaft so as to be communicated with a discharge chamber. At least one of the first and the second side plates has a first supply channel which connects the public channel with each primary backpressure chamber. At least one of the second and the third side plates has a second supply channel which connects the public channel with each secondary backpressure chamber.</p> |
