<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information gathering-system that can gather information while keeping information provided by each information provider secret. <P>SOLUTION: A gathering-device comprises means which mutually communicates with each of a plurality of provision devices via a relay device and generates an encryption key shared by the gathering device and the plurality of provision devices. Each of the plurality of provision devices comprises: means which generates, from provided information, multiple pieces of distributed information which can be used for restoring the provided information and respectively correspond to respective identifiers of the plurality of provision devices, encrypts the distributed information by the encryption key, and transmits each piece of the distributed information to the provision device with the corresponding identifier via the relay device; and means which calculates an output value using a piece of the distributed information corresponding to the identifier assigned to the device itself from among the generated pieces of the distributed information and pieces of the distributed information received from other provision devices, as inputs of a second function, encrypts the output value by the encryption key, and transmits it to the gathering-device.
