摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress restrictions imposed on the movable range of a robot hand or a robot arm by wiring. <P>SOLUTION: An assembly robot includes a robot arm, a robot hand 2, and a control unit. The robot band 2 includes a grip for gripping a workpiece, and a solenoid valve 33 for supplying driving compressed air to the grip. In the assembly robot, a grip control signal is transmitted from the control unit to the wireless communication section 35 of the robot hand 2, and a gripping state signal indicating the workpiece gripping state of the grip is transmitted from the wireless communication unit 35 to the control unit. Thus, between the control unit and the robot hand 2, no transmission wiring is necessary for the grip control signal and the gripping state signal.
