A power supply device and an LED lighting device using the same are disclosed. The device facilitates a control of an output voltage and an output current by allowing a common usage for a reference potential of the output voltage and a grounding voltage potential of a driving unit, by connecting a location of an inductor between the grounding potential and an input voltage of the driving unit, and enables a free decision for an output voltage irrelevant of a size of the input voltage, by supplying an inductor current stored in an inductor to a capacitor as an output voltage, by using an equipped diode.
