<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film which exhibits excellent retardation development and low inner haze even when using low-cost low-grade pulp and which can be employed for a high contrast application, as well as a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film including cellulose acylate with 2.2-2.55 acyl substitution degree includes, with respect to 100 mass% sugar composition constituting the film, 0.9 mass% or less xylose and 0.9 mass% or less mannose. By performing a step of depositing and removing compositions other than cellulose acylate contained in the dope during dope preparation (deposition removal process), such a cellulose acylate film can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
