<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a press-molded product for a vehicle body capable of enhancing strength of a member by a plurality of times of cold pressing without applying heat treatment such as a hot pressing process or induction hardening, and the press-molded product for a vehicle body having superior collision performance. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the press-molded product for a vehicle body having superior collision performance by press molding a metal plate by relative linear movements of a die and a punch includes the steps of: applying bending processing to the metal plate and forming an intermediate product having a bent portion at a prescribed position in the longitudinal direction of the metal plate; and applying unbending processing for bending the bent portion of the intermediate product in the opposite direction, applying work hardening treatment to the prescribed position of the metal plate, and at the same time, forming the press-molded product by press molding the metal plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
