<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel exchangeable filter element which is excellent in versatility, does not need to use a specific filter frame when housed in a filter frame, wherein the pleats at both side end part are compressed and has a seal function to the filter frame in the exchangeable filter element in which a filtering area substantially is enlarged by forming a sheet-like filter material in a pleat shape and which is used by exchangeably housing the same in the filter frame. <P>SOLUTION: The filter element which is used by exchangeably housing the same in the filter frame comprises: the filter material in which a large number of pleats are formed; and plate-like members for fixing the end parts of a zigzag-shape of the pleats and is characterized in that only the middle part of the pleats are fixed to the plate-like members. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
