<p>A severing machine for cutting rolls or other elongated products, comprising a device for holding the elongated products during cut. The device for holding the elongated products during cut comprises at least one series of first adjustable abutments (31 A) and one series of second adjustable abutments (3 IB). The first adjustable abutments and the second adjustable abutments are arranged on opposite sides of a feeding path for the elongated products (L). The first adjustable abutments are arranged over one another and each of them can be adjusted independently of the others to adapt to the shape and/or dimension of the product. Furthermore, the first adjustable abutments can be blocked with respect to one another in a working position. Analogously, the second adjustable abutments (3 IB) are arranged over one another, each of them can be adjusted independently of the others, and the second abutments can be blocked with respect to one another in a working position.</p> |
