Method for manufacturing polyol esters

Producing polyol ester comprises: reacting polyol with linear or branched aliphatic monocarboxylic acid having 3-20 carbon atoms; and subsequently reprocessing the reaction mixture. The mixture of starting compounds is reacted in presence of an adsorbent. The reprocessing step comprises separating the unreacted starting compounds, subsequently carrying out steam treatment, and drying the remaining polyol ester. The filtration of the polyol ester is carried out after the completion of the reaction or after any other reprocessing step.
