According to the present invention, provided are a device for adjusting the amount of water supplied for a refrigerator and a method thereof, in a refrigerator having a dispenser and an ice machine which are supplied with water from a same water source, measuring the amount of supplied water intake of the dispenser with a unit for measuring the amount of supplied water in order to determine whether the amount of water supplied from the dispenser is appropriate in accordance with a pressure state of a current water source; and being compared with a minimum and a maximum of the amount of water supplied. Therefore, the amount of supplied water which is frequently changed by fluctuation of pressure of a water source can be adjusted in real time by a user with simple operation, thereby reducing adjusting time for the amount of water supplied to the dispenser and the amount of water finally supplied to the ice machine, and maximizing convenience of a user. |
