The method of manufacturing a glass sheet for a color filter in regard to the present invention is capable of improving the adhesion of a resin on a surface of the glass sheet. The method of manufacturing a glass sheet for a color filter according to the present invention, which forms a black matrix resin on a surface, comprises a glass sheet washing process of removing foreign materials attached to the surface by washing the surface of the glass sheet. The glass sheet washing process includes a first washing process and a second washing process. The glass sheet washing process includes a first washing process and a second washing process. The surface is washed by using inorganic alkali meter detergent including a surfactant in the first washing process. The surface is washed by using tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide in the second washing process.
