<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately obtain a calculation result while allowing recognition of a calculation process. <P>SOLUTION: A scientific calculator 1 includes: a key input unit 14 which inputs, as an input expression, a mathematical expression including unary operation sections comprising unary operators and operands on the basis of user's operation; a CPU 11 which simplifies the input expression by arithmetic to calculate an output expression as a calculation result in a form including at least one unary operation section; and a display unit 15 which displays the input expression and the output expression. The CPU 11 causes the display unit 15 to display output expression-side operands included in the output expression, out of operands of unary operation sections displayed by the display unit 15, in different display modes respectively. The CPU 11 causes the display unit 15 to display input expression-side operands included in the input expression and used for arithmetic as calculation sources of output expression-side operands, out of the operands of unary operation sections displayed by the display unit 15, in display modes corresponding to the output expression-side operands. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
