<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable display of outgoing information of another incoming call during telephone call with keeping the telephone call and without requiring any special device for incoming information display.SOLUTION: A telephone system has plural extensions and a telephone switchboard. Each extension has plural line buttons which respectively correspond to different lines and notify incoming call to the corresponding lines, and a display unit for displaying transmitter information associated with the incoming call. The telephone switchboard accommodates plural outside lines and the plural extensions and controls the outgoing and incoming calls in the plural extensions. During a telephone call with an extension, when a line of an incoming call is applied to the extension under the telephone call through another different line, the line button of the extension under the telephone call accepts the incoming call through the other different line, and transmitter information associated with the incoming call through the other different line is displayed on the display unit of the extension under the telephone call with the acceptance of the incoming call as a trigger while keeping the telephone call.</p> |
