<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fermented soybean container having a structure capable of very easily closing a lid body part after placing a fermented soybean raw material in a container body part, and opening the lid body part when eating fermented soybean. <P>SOLUTION: Fermented soybean is placed in the fermented soybean container A. The fermented soybean container A includes a container body part 1 having a flange part 3, and a lid body part 2 having a flange part 4. The container body part 1 and the lid body part 2 are connected to each other at edges of their flange parts 3, 4 via a hinge part 5. The container body part 1 has a vertical wall 7 erected upwardly from a surface of the flange part 3 of the container body part 1 at the circumference of a recessed container part 6 of the container body part 1. The lid body part 2 has a fitting recess 8 in which the vertical wall 7 is fitted when closing the lid.
