<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide blast furnace cement that has lower amount of hydrogen gas, generated when the blast furnace cement is hydrated in an environment free of radiation irradiation, than conventional blast furnace cement, and used for a radioactive waste treatment, and a method of reducing the amount of hydrogen gas. <P>SOLUTION: The amount of generated hydrogen gas is reduced by using, as blast furnace cement used for the radioactive waste treatment, blast furnace cement using blast furnace granulated slag having been heat-treated at 600-800°C or blast furnace cement equivalent to a product on the market after a heat treatment at 600-800°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
