Provided are a virus inactivating agent for inactivating viruses in a liquid phase comprising at least one active ingredient selected from the group consisting of protein denaturants and proteolytic enzymes; a filter for trapping viruses; and a virus inactivating filter set comprising the virus inactivating agent adhered thereto.
